Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in an alleged bottle attack.
The Met Police confirmed an arrest was made following an incident at a venue in Hanover Square, Mayfair, on February 19, 2023.
The American R&B singer is being held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to a music producer Abraham Diaw.
Mr Diaw launched a civil claim against Brown for $16 million, or £12 million in damages, for injuries and losses suffered as a result of the alleged attack.
The events reportedly took place in a nightclub back in 2023. Brown was on a worldwide tour and playing in the UK at the time of the alleged attack.
The arrest in connection with the alleged incident comes just over three weeks before the singer is due to launch his Breezy Bowl XX world tour.
The singer was staying at five-star The Lowry Hotel in Manchester at the time of his arrest.
