Following the discovery of the body of a 46 year old woman in Lewisham, The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation.

The Metropolitan Police has launched a murder investigation after the body of a woman was found in Deptford on Monday.
The body was confirmed to be that of Zoe Orton, 46, and her next of kin have been informed.
Police originally visited a flat in McMillan Street at around 10:00 on Monday following concern about the welfare of the occupant.
The police gave the cause of death as neck compression following a post-mortem on Tuesday.
No arrests have yet been made but police are treating the case as a murder investigation.
Homicide detectives from their Specialist Crime division are leading the enquiries.
