A man has been charged with then attempted murder of a police officer in south London.
Julian Peters, 35, will appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court today.
The police were called on Tuesday evening to Lynette Avenue, Clapham, after reports of a man causing a disturbance.
Mr Peters was also charged with making threats to kill and being in possession of a blade.
The officer did not require hospital treatment.
