Six London constituencies will be included in a nationwide election pact between the Liberal Democrats, the Green Party and Plaid Cymru to try and give pro-Remain candidates the best possible chance in each seat.
The deal, brokered by the Unite to Remain group covers 60 seats across London and Wales.
It follows a similar agreement earlier this year in the Breacon and Radnorshire by-election in Wales, where the Lib Dems took the seat from the Conservatives after the other two parties stood aside.
The London seats included in the deal are Bermondsey and Old Southwark, Dulwich and West Norwood, Chelsea and Fulham, Finchley and Golders Green, Richmond Park, and Twickenham.
Former Liberal Democrat MP and chairwoman of Unite to Remain Heidi Allen said the cross-party agreement is “unprecedented in modern British political history”.
Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson said that the remain arrangement is a “significant moment for all people who want to support remain candidates across the country”.
Sian Berry, co-leader of the Green Party also welcomed the deal.
The terms of the agreement in London seats are as follows:
