Eriksen dropped to the ground just before half-time in the Danes opening game of the tournament.
Cameras showed medics desperately trying to revive the former Spurs star.
The BBC have said that viewers complained about the coverage showing “intrusive footage of player receiving medical treatment”.
The broadcaster has apologised, explaining that the footage is controlled by UEFA.
Eriksen has since been released from hospital.
