Claridge’s unveiled a Louis Vuitton-designed Christmas tree on the 23rd of November 2023.
The piece was influenced by the “Art of Travel,” a conceptual idea shared by both companies’ Christmas marketing.
Claridge’s has showcased a Christmas tree each year, a statement piece which has enticed celebrities such as, Audrey Hepburn, Bing Cosby, and Cary Grant.
Last year, Claridge’s fashioned ‘The Diamond,’ a Christmas tree designed by Sandra Choi for Jimmy Choo.
Two colossal Malles Vestiarie wardrobe trunks, standing 5.2 metres tall, form this year’s tree.
Each trunk is decorated with travel stickers that convey the theme of travel, and a large Louis Vuitton luggage label surrounds the tree. Louis Vuitton personalised the tree in this way to reflect the hotel’s infamous art deco style.

The centrepiece of the tree is Louis Vuitton’s ancestral home, Asnières. Louis Vuitton captures the family home in the Christmas tree to signify the historic creation of the wardrobe trunk, designed and crafted in Asnières.
Claridge’s General Manager Paul Jackson stated, “Christmas is the most magical time of the year for us at the hotel and we look forward to welcoming guests and seeing visitors immerse themselves in Louis Vuitton’s world.”
